I am feeling just a touch overwhelmed by the fact that it is just two short weeks until my skin removal surgery. I will have a lap without an abundance of extra me in it! WOW

Can I ask how much you lost? I’m just embarking on my own WLS journey and projecting ahead to the expense of skin removal surgery already 😱

I have lost between 207 and 209lbs or 94-95 kilos – it depends on the day and the time of the month 😊 skin removal surgery is certainly an expensive undertaking. In Australia it can be done within our public health system under certain conditions BUT you wait for years and years.

That’s an amazing loss! I have about 90lbs to lose but as I’ve yo-yo dieting all my life I know my skin won’t ping back. In the UK skin surgery is never funded on the NHS so I think it’s time to start saving 😂
